Photo Competition 2015 - Doors & Windows

Entries and results of the 2015 EGATS Photo Competition can be found here. The theme for this edition was: 'Doors & Windows'. First place was for Wim Lentjes. Second prize went to Alexandru Ovidiu. Third prize was for Shirley Hicter. All the entries, including the winning ones can be seen in the online album here.



Photo Competition 2014 - Red

Entries and results of the 2014 EGATS Photo Competition can be found here. The theme for this edition was: 'Red'. First place was for Yvan Vandenbogaerde. Second prize went to Robin James. Third prize was for Chris Jeeves. All the entries, including the winning ones can be seen in the online album here.



Photo Competition 2013 - Black & White

Theme for the 2013 EGATS Photo Competition was "Black & White". The winning entry was submitted by Wim Lentjes, with second place for Matt Houben and third for Igor Jakimov. The online album can be found here.



Photo Competition 2012 - Best Three of the Year

First place was for Yvan Vandenbogaerde. The jury selected Adrian Stefan and Enrique Zubiago as runners up.



Photo Competition 2011 - Street Life

The results of the 8th EGATS Photo Competition are out. This year's theme was: 'Street Life'.

First and second prize went to Igor Jakimov. Third prize was for Chris Jeeves.

Photo Competition 2010 - Three

The seventh EGATS Photo Competition had as challenging theme 'Three'. See how the different participants interpreted this theme.

First prize went to Benjamin Burger. Runners-up were Chris Jeeves and Thierry Grand-Perret. Congratulations to them and to all who entered.



Photo Competition 2009 - Architecture

For the sixth time, EGATS organised a photo competition. The theme for this years' edition was 'Architecture'.

First prize was awarded to Yvan Vandenbogaerde (MUAC/ENG). Runners-up were Gerald Friederichs and John Smylie (MUAC/OPS), who shared 2nd place! Conngratulations to the winners and better luck to the others next time.



Photo Competition 2008 - Landscape

The theme for the 2008 EGATS Photo Competition was Landscape All entries were judged by pupils taking the International Baccalaureate course at the International School Maastricht, aided by a couple of teachers. The pupils were aged around 18.

Cathy Servaes took first prize. David Cummins and Dessi Staneva came second and third.

Photo Competition 2007 -Action

The theme for the 2007 EGATS Photo Competition was action. Entries were expertly judged by Richard Franssen, proprietor of a photo shop in Maastricht.

Milena Dobreva won first prize. Jan Vesters and Stephen Mohammed were runners-up.

Photo Competition 2006 -Circles

The theme for the 2006 edition of the EGATS Photo Competition was circles. The entries were judged by the staff of the local newspapers Dagblad de Limburger/ Limburgs Dagblad in Sittard.

Winner was Peter Hansen. Runners-up were Dessi Staneva and Stephen Mohammed.

Photo Competition 2005 - People

The theme for the second edition of the EGATS Photo Competition was people. The entries were judged by the staff of Foto Rembrandt in Maastricht.

The competition was won by Robert Klos, with Claudia d'Amico and Stephen Mohammed as runners-up.

Photo Competition 2004 -Water

The Very first EGATS Photo Competition was organised in 2004. Photo enthousiasts were asked to submit their best work involving water. The pupils of class ID5 of the International Department of the Joppenhof International Primary School in Maastricht (around 8 years old) judged our first photo competition.

Winner was Jakub Vinicky, with Anja Lingk and Dessi Staneva as runners up.
